The main highlight of the celebration is the stint. Fresh, smoked, fried or even marinated, it comes in a variety of flavours. Each year, the festival is enriched by a musical programme, with folk and popular music performers taking to the stage to create a festive atmosphere. Lithuanian Maritime Museum (Klaipėda)
The museum's exhibitions are located in the Nerija Fort, and include an aquarium, a marine nature exhibition, seabird and mammal pools, and a maritime history exhibition. Therefore, you will see aquariums with various species of fish, fauna of the Baltic Sea, ancient navigational instruments and ship models. If you want to take advantage of the free visit on the last Sunday of the month, visitors are admitted free of charge to the museum's exhibitions (there is a fee for dolphin shows).
