„The Walk“ is arguably the most famous short story by the Swiss writer Robert Walser. Robert Walser, born in 1878 in Bily, was an exceedingly sensitive man throughout his life, haunted by his own demons. The author, director, and protagonist of the stage adaptation of „The Walk“ is Rolandas Kazlas. The performance will take place on August 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Gymnasium in Palanga (13 Jūratės St.).
The Absurdist Comedy „The Hunger Artists“ Cottage" | Lithuanian Film Summer in Šventoji

This absurdist comedy tells the story of Daiva, a TV anchor who, one day, loses her job along with hundreds of her colleagues. Determined and energetic, she’s willing to do anything for television! She announces a hunger strike and sets up camp in a trailer in front of the TV station buildings. The film screening will take place on August 14 at 10:00 p.m. in Šventoji’s pedestrian square. Admission is free.
