The new project PARADISE SYMPHONY by talented and bright Lithuanian orchestral musicians is a lively orchestra with charismatic soloists, violin and cello. With romantic love melodies, this performance will create a warm and cosy atmosphere. The mood and atmosphere will be made memorable by the lighting effects specially chosen for this concert and the performance of the winners of the International Dance Competition. The rhythm of the music, the passion and freedom, the elegance and tenderness will leave a lasting impression like no other. So this is an evening to experience the full power and colour of music, where the exquisite instruments of renowned masters will captivate you with their sound and the orchestra will add to the festive atmosphere. The performance in Palanga will take place on 8 March, 7 pm, at the Palanga Concert Hall (Vytauto g. 43, Palanga).

Daddy Was A Milkman "Acoustic tour 2025"
21 March, 7 pm.

Daddy Was A Milkman's writing and performance is soft, deep and cosy, and when familiar songs are performed acoustically, it's sure to be an evening of cosy and peaceful music. During this acoustic tour, the artist will perform in Lithuania and Latvia, arriving in Palanga on 21 March. This programme will give the audience a unique opportunity to hear well-known songs performed in a new, intimate and extremely sensitive way together with Latvian guitar virtuoso Gints Smukais. According to the artist, "Gints is full of wonderful musical solutions and the guitar in his hands sounds like several instruments" and that he has never heard his own music sound like that. The performance will take place on 21 March, 7 pm, at the Palanga Kurhaus Hall (Grafų Tiškevičių al. 1, Palanga).

Vidas Bareikis Grand Acoustic Show
25 April, 7 pm.

Vida Bareikis is usually seen as bright and energetic, and his music is fast and expressive. But this time he invites you to a different, more intimate and cosy evening of music. "GRAND AKUSTINIS SHOW is an acoustic concert with popular songs but unheard arrangements. The artist will perform with VB gang, VMU Chamber Orchestra and conductor Vytautas Lukočius. The performer himself says that "during such performances I sit down at the piano and invite the audience to a very cosy, intimate meeting. I improvise a lot, joke around, we have a lively conversation with the audience, I answer their questions and share stories," the singer says. - Since most of my songs are also born from the piano, acoustic concerts are the place to see me up close." The acoustic concert of Vidas Bareikis will take place in Palanga on 25 April, 7 pm, at the Palanga Concert Hall (Vytauto g. 43, Palanga).

An easy 6-kilometre route around Palanga, which will take you just over 1 hour to complete. The route will take you past some of the most famous places in Palanga, stopping off at museums, strolling through the cosy streets and enjoying the spectacular views, such as the panoramic view from the observation deck of the Palanga Church.

For longer walks around Palanga in winter

For longer walks, there is a more challenging route around Palanga. This walk offers unique places to explore, from Šventoji beach, where you can admire the snow-covered dunes in winter, to the city's cosy parks and cultural attractions.

You will visit the impressive Šventoji Lighthouse, the mystical Naglis Hill and the active recreation trail "Labrytis". The route will also reveal Palanga's historical gems: the Count Tiškevičius Alley, Birutė Park and the interactive Lithuanian Fairy Tales Park. From Nemirseta Beach to Palanga Bridge, you will be accompanied by the sound of the sea and fabulous winter views.

Walk along the Litorina Nature Trail

We encourage you to go beyond Palanga and enjoy the views around it. If you want to take a walk in a quieter environment and spend some time in nature, the Litorina Nature Trail is the perfect place to do it. The trail is at an altitude of 15 metres and the route is just over 5 kilometres long. As you walk along it, you'll look out to sea on one side and coastal pine forests on the other. The views are truly breathtaking: sandy cliffs, their edge fringed by trees, and the sea beyond.

Cycling around Palanga

Perhaps the most popular and much-loved activity in Palanga in spring is cycling along the seaside paths. You probably know that this is particularly convenient in Palanga: wide and annually renewed cycle paths, city streets adapted for easy cycling, easy access to the beach and the main attractions. The cycling season starts around April and ends in November, which is when you will find more bicycle rental outlets in Palanga. However, the bicycle rental point at Jūratės g. 37, Palanga is open all year round.

When cycling around Palanga, you should note that:

  • 1 June to 1 September Bicycles, electric scooters and velomobiles are prohibited on J. Basanavičiaus Street.
  • Bicycles, electric scooters and velomobiles are prohibited on Palanga Bridge and Birutė Park all year round.

This route not only offers views, but also visits to the most important historical sites in Palanga. The route will start from the Palanga Bridge and then you will explore the streets of Palanga. Along the way you will see the famous fountain with the sculpture "Jūratė and Kastytis", pass historical buildings, the Kurhaus and reach St. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. You can stop for a stroll in Birutė Park or at the musical fountain.

Longer cycling route Palanga - Olando kepurė - Palanga

For those who don't want to ride on city streets, we recommend taking trails away from the city, surrounded by nature. The trail starts from Palanga Church and leads to Nemirseta, where you will also visit the Plaze Nature Reserve with its unique flora and fauna. Finally, you will reach Karkle and Olando capura, one of the most beautiful seaside spots, where you can take a walk along the nature trail, sit down to rest and continue your journey back to Palanga.

Fun at the seaside - what to do in Palanga in spring?

Palanga bowling

The recently opened Palanga bowling alley might be a new, untried seaside attraction for you. It's the perfect activity for a cooler day or a more interesting evening. The bowling alley is highly rated: modern, cosy, well-equipped and well-equipped to make your leisure time enjoyable.

Palanga Bowling offers bowling lanes for both beginners and advanced players. The lanes are equipped with child guards to make the game fun for the little ones too. There's also The Domino's Restobar offers lighter snacks, larger sets for the whole group, or after the game, you can sit down in a separate room for a fuller meal. Opening hours: Mondays to Thursdays from 11:00 to 22:00, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 23:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 21:00. 

Our additional advice: if you are able, book your game time at least 1-2 days before your arrival - it's a new venue, so there's a lot of footfall.

Palanga swimming pool

If you want more water activities, you can visit the Palanga swimming pool. However, this pool is especially popular on weekends and holidays, when it is really crowded. If you are planning to bring your family, we recommend contacting the management before you arrive to check availability, especially if you are staying during the school holidays.

But it's a great time for families with children. The Palanga Swimming Pool Wellness Centre has saunas, pools for children and adults, and several hot tubs. There is a large pool for swimming enthusiasts, a children's area with safe slides, and several saunas (sauna, steam, infrared) where you can relax after a vigorous swim.

The Palanga swimming pool is open every day, including weekends and public holidays. Opening hours: Mondays from 12 noon to 10 pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 10 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 9 pm.

House of Illusions

One of the places located in the very centre of Palanga, but one hears that it is still unvisited and unknown to many. When you arrive at the Eureka House of Illusions, the first thing you'll do is try out the illusion rooms. There is a universe room, a bed of nails, a devil's tunnel and other illusion rooms. But the museum is also interesting because it allows you to be active participants as well as observers: there are 52 interactive exhibits, educational sessions and experiments that involve the museum participants. We guarantee that you will leave the museum having discovered and learned new things, in a good mood and, of course, with some exceptional photographs to show off.

Dolphinarium and Maritime Museum

Even if you think you've been here more than once, the Dolphinarium can be visited at least once a year - both the activities and the performances are constantly changing. Watching the dolphins perform is fun for both children and adults. Even better, it's not just a fun activity, but also an immersive education. Watching the show allows you to understand the plasticity, playfulness, behaviour and interaction of these animals with humans.

There is also an interesting museum with 25 aquariums with coral reefs and colourful fish, seals, northern sea lions, penguins, a collection of marine mollusc shells, and a history of shipping. We're sure that a visit here will be a thrill for the whole family.
