Litorina Nature Trail
Admire the Baltic shores from a height of 15 metres! The 2.8-kilometre "Litorina" nature trail, which winds through centuries-old trees, allows you to once again witness the magnificence of Lithuania's natural beauty. Starting from the Dutch Cap and stretching for almost three kilometres, the nature trail will open your eyes to the sight of high cliffs, atypical and unusual vegetation, and historical sites. There are benches for rest breaks, and a swing set up on a spectacular spot on the escarpment.
Interesting name for a nature trail, isn't it? Litorina is the name of a glacial sea, the shorelines of which can be seen along this trail. It's interesting to feel the changes in nature shaped by the millennia - today we can walk along and see views of the areas where the old Litorina Sea used to swell more than 7,500 years ago.
